Most of the broker apps have a common type of interface to check the allotment status easily. Below are the general steps that you can use to check if you got the IPO allotment or not.
- Firstly, log in to your broker’s trading app or the web platform, such as Zerodha, Groww, etc.
- Then, find the IPO / Portfolio / Investments / Stocks tab on the main dashboard.
- Next, go to the Order Book / Bid History or My Applications section to view your application history.
- Finally, select the specific IPO you applied for and check your status.
You will see one of the following statuses:
- Allotted – You have got the shares allotment.
- Not Allotted/Refunded: You did not get selected, and your blocked funds will be released.
- Applied – The allotment result has not been announced yet.
There are other methods to check the allotment status, such as the Registrar’s website, NSE, and BSE platforms.
