Airtel Africa officially picked the London Stock Exchange for its mobile money business. Chief Executive Officer Sunil Taldar stated that London provides access to global international investors. Market analysts value the fintech unit at nearly 10 billion dollars. The unit operates with a core profit margin of 50.1%.
The company scheduled the Airtel Money London IPO for the second half of 2026. Regional conflicts created higher energy and logistics costs across operational markets. These cost pressures delayed the original public offer timeline. Airtel Africa still delivered higher overall quarterly revenue and net profits. The launch of the Airtel Money London IPO will unlock equity value for parent company shareholders.
