MakeMyTrip India IPO DRHP Filed Confidentially

Travel services platform MakeMyTrip takes a major step toward listing its domestic operations. The firm submitted pre-filed draft papers confidentially to SEBI, BSE, and NSE for the public offer of MakeMyTrip (India).

Structure Details with MakeMyTrip India IPO DRHP

The parent company and its Singapore-based unit, ibibo Group Holdings, will sell existing equity shares in MakeMyTrip (India). The operating entity will remain a direct subsidiary of MakeMyTrip after completing the transaction. The company will continue to group these domestic finances inside its consolidated statements.

The parent company and ibibo Holdings will use the net cash proceeds to support long-term expansion goals. The management plans to fund strategic corporate acquisitions and buy back various securities classes. The group may also explore cross-border share fungibility options in the medium term to allow dual-market exposure across Indian and US capital markets.

Strategic Goals and Local Talent Incentives

The company expects the Mumbai listing to build brand awareness across domestic markets. The leadership wants to create share-based rewards to attract and keep top technology personnel in a competitive recruitment landscape.

Financial metrics for FY2026 highlight the operational focus of the group. Total annual revenue reached US$1,043.99 million. However, net income fell to US$51.8 million, causing profit margins to decline to 5% from 9.7% in the previous year. Long-term financial projections target $1.7 billion in revenue and $277.9 million in earnings by 2029. Achieving these long-term targets requires an annual revenue growth rate of 17.4%.
